Growing Up in South El Monte: A Local Perspective on Selling a Family Home
Before I became a Realtor, South El Monte was simply home.
I attended New Temple Elementary School and Dean L. Shively Middle School before later attending Mountain View High School in neighboring El Monte. Like many local families, my roots in the community go back decades. My brother Gilbert taught at South El Monte High School for over 25 years, and his wife, Maria, also worked there fo over 20 years.
Because I grew up here, I understand that many South El Monte homes are more than just real estate. They are family homes that have been owned for generations. Some have been passed down through inheritance. Others become part of a trust or probate estate after a loved one passes away.
When homeowners contact me about selling in South El Monte, the conversation is rarely just about price. It’s often about family decisions, timing, financial goals, and preserving a legacy.
My role is to help homeowners understand all of their options so they can make the decision that best fits their situation. Whether you’re considering a traditional sale, selling an inherited property, navigating probate, or simply exploring your home’s value, I’ll provide straightforward information and guidance without pressure.
South El Monte will always be more than a market area to me. It’s where my story began.
